“ Canadian Wild Horses is an educational non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing education and awareness to the use of Equines for mental health disorders and to the plight of Canada’s Heritage Horses including our Wildies and Critical breeds within Canada. This will be done through educational Equine training, educational promotions, research studies (DND Testing), and supporting like minded groups. We the members of Canadian Wild Horses strongly believe that it is our turn to be the voices for equines, as they have done so much for the human species. Together we can make a difference in the survival and welfare of our Heritage Horses for future generations. Thank you for you time and look forward to hearing from you.”

CWH works closely with WHOAS (Wild Horses of Alberta Society) in protecting the Wild horses roaming throughout Alberta. The Wild horses in Alberta are currently only recognized as Feral Livestock and are not properly protected. CWH & WHOAS are working together to prove that the Wild horse of Alberta are related to the LLCIP and Newfoundland Ponies, with hopes to evolve them into their own species.
